The Womens Business Club


I am delighted to be the host for the Bath Premier Club meetings which usually take place on the third Tuesday of the month.  The Womens Business Club (TWBC) is a leading organisation for UK women in business, and was established to provide a combination of networking opportunities, business clubs and support for women at all levels of their career. TWBC works with women in business and provides up to date business information and exciting promotional opportunities as well as vital connections to other business women in order to find help, new customers, inspiration and support.

The WBC Premier Club is not a networking group; rather it is a group of senior business women dedicated to helping and supporting each other through continuing professional development. Recommendations and referrals come naturally from knowing and trusting each other.

I have a special offer for TWBC members of smaller and micro businesses under £1/2 M turnover:  the opportunity to “pick my brains” about their marketing in sessions of one hour each without any ongoing commitment.  This would be done over the ‘phone and we would agree a mutually convenient time for you to call me. You’d send me up to one page A4 about you/your business and the area of marketing/sales you want to discuss at least 3 days ahead, and then off we go.  If I have a ‘paper’ or some further information on what we’ve discussed, I’ll forward it to you after the call.

And the Cost (for 2011)?   – just £75/hour

For larger organizations, I would also be delighted to offer professional marketing support with a greater commitment from you on time, so from 1-2 or more days/month. This allows busy owner managers and directors to concentrate on running their business, knowing that their marketing will be managed professionally and working to increase the bottom line.

Areas you might like to look at to cover?

  1. The Marketing Audit – a review of your current marketing strategy, what is working and what isn’t… A great place to start so you can see with much greater vision and focus what’s what for going forward and driving your business onwards and upwards!  And if you don’t yet have a strategy/plan in place, don’t worry, I can work with you to prepare one that you can work from – practical and attainable.
  2. Need help to get set up on LinkedIn?  Don’t lose out on this very valuable resource to be seen and to find new contacts.
  3. Need help with your email newsletters, ensuring they have the best chance of being read/opened and acted upon? It’s not as straightforward as you might think!
  4. Your Key Words and Phrases for your web copy, proposal copy, advertising, and to be available and ready whenever you need it. (would need to work with your analytics from Google too)
  5. Examining the product/service you offer and what research/analysis you’ve undertaken
  6. Processes as they affect your customer/their journey and your retention
  7. “Physical Evidence” eg case studies, testimonials, brand, image, premises, team appearance
  8. Promotion, how you communicate – looking at some of the different ways available today
  9. Internet Marketing
  10. Selling – presentation techniques, selling on value and not price, getting more sales etc.

      • what topic(s) you’d like to discuss and
      • what you want to achieve from the conversation

The Small Print

  • Payment with booking via BACS with booking and to arrive at least five days prior to our call
  • Confirmation Invoice will be submitted to you
  • This one hour session is available only to micro and small businesses under £1/2M turnover.
  • All information I learn about you and your company will be kept totally confidential
  • Because this is an active two way dialogue I won’t be able to take notes to send across to you; you’ll need to do this. But if I have any supporting information about your topic, whether written by me or ANOther, then I’ll forward this for you.
  • You need to call me and our ‘clock’ starts from the agreed start time of the call.  I’m on Skype or land line or mobile; if using Skype, probably best to zap away video mode after we’ve initially connected as often this can cause issues with the call quality
  • Sessions postponed 3-5 working days before appointment will carry 50% charge; less than 3 working days will be charged in full.  No refunds for ‘forgotten’ calls.
